Abstract
The pulse diagnosis have been very important diagnostic method during several thousand years in the orient. Objective: The purpose of this study is to characterized the Pulse transit time(PTT) and PTTv(v=variability) for time series analysis. Time series analysis(tachogram) represents the current state of individual system(time resolvability). Method: Pulse transit time(PTT) was measured on the time delay difference between ECG R peak and foot of systolic rise of two photoplethysmography(PPG) signal. Results: PTTv study was performed in 40 people(young) and 50 people(old). Ten tachogram(=PTTv) is also established from these two PPGs and ECG. Spearman correlations values(10¡¿10/2) are calculated from this ten tachograms. Pattern of these correlation-bar may be represent the cardiovascular fingerprint(CVF) for an individual. Discussion: Normal cardiovascular fingerprint(nCVF) and disease specific, dCVF can will be established from massive case study. Individual CVF takes from 5 min data, and compare with nCVF and dCVF. Therefore PTTv-CVF may be novel method for individual constitution analysis.
